We believe in being in partnership, and so commit – with each investment – to craft a value creation and impact plan.

03

DIVERSE VIEWS

All of us hold different views, and we commit to respecting the views of entrepreneurs, their team and their communities.

DIVERSE VIEWS

All of us hold different views, and we commit to respecting the views of entrepreneurs, their team and their communities.

OUR THESIS

We have deep compassion and empathy for the entrepreneur journey. We also know and honor that being an Indigenous entrepreneur can lead to unique priorities, grounding and challenges.

HOW WE INVEST
STAGE

We invest starting at seed stage and follow on through Series B.

GEOGRAPHY

Our focus is on companies based in either the U.S. or Canada.

INDUSTRY

We invest across sectors that improve Indigenous well-being.

The Raven Indigenous Outcomes Fund offers investors a first-of-its-kind opportunity to deploy capital to scale meaningful social programs and improve outcomes in Indigenous communities, while allowing government to only pay for what works.

Indigenous outcomes-based financing deals, what we call CDOCs or Community-Driven Outcomes Contracts and what others refer to as pay-for-success projects or pay-for-performance projects, are next-generation public-private partnerships that are structured to align social impact and financial returns.

HOW WE INVEST
FOCUS AND VALUE CREATION

Investments in large-scale ($1M+) projects, led by experienced outcomes finance team and leading advisory expertise, with >75% Indigenous staff and where >50% of staff are women or gender-diverse.

DIVERSIFICATION

Diversified exposure across geography, issue areas, and service providers, targeting initiatives with a strong track record and capacity to successfully scale with economic reconciliation at the core.

COLLABORATION

Extensive network across public, private, and social sectors to source investment opportunities, with an ongoing government engagement strategy to establish new, supportive outcome procurement pathways.
