OUR UNIQUE VIEW
Growing an Indigenous-centered economy requires the creation of new financial models and systems built upon Indigenous values and worldview. In stride with community, we nurture these solutions and enable Indigenous resiliency.

OUR MISSION AND VISION
Our Vision: Thriving and sovereign Indigenous Peoples, communities, and Nations, living in harmony with a healthy Mother Earth. Our Mission: Our mission is to improve the wellbeing of Indigenous Peoples. We research and co-create supportive financial solutions in climate and health — centering the needs, traditions, and voices of Indigenous communities.OUR FOCUS AREAS
As an Indigenous foundation, we honour Indigenous values, knowledge, and practices in all that we do. Guided by teachings about the interconnectivity of life and the holistic nature of wellbeing, we selected our organizational focus areas with intention. We ultimately identified the focus areas of climate and health, recognizing their intersectionality and importance to Indigenous families and communities across Turtle Island.

ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION
Advocacy and education play pivotal roles in advancing Indigenous social finance and innovation. By actively advocating for the inclusion of Indigenous communities within financial systems, we can create opportunities for greater economic self-determination and prosperity. Moreover, education serves as a catalyst for change, equipping Indigenous Peoples and non-Indigenous people alike with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and shape these innovative financial models. Together, advocacy and education foster greater awareness, engagement, and collaboration, ultimately driving positive social and economic outcomes for Indigenous Peoples.

“We believe that Indigenous community services can be delivered in a better and more effective way, with government agreeing to pay for the achievement of measurable outcomes instead of contracting services to third parties. We are able to onboard private capital to fully support upfront costs; put solutions in the hands of Indigenous communities; build out Indigenous social enterprises; and engage governments to pay-for-successes that improve lives.”
